Hayden at the Dakota

On Tuesday night my friend Tanner called to let me know that Hayden would be playing a just announced show that night at The Dakota Tavern. In 2001 I heard him for the first time when I saw the music video for Dynamite Walls on MuchMusic, and from that point on I have been hooked. Being a longtime fan it was amazing to see him in such a small intimate atmosphere, and he did not disappoint.
Cruising through classics like Dynamite Walls, he also played a handful of new songs which will be taken into the studio soon. I took a handful of shots during the show, and then afterwards when they were done their packing up, he was nice enough to have a seat and let me grab a couple quick portraits.
